Go on, girls, go go go!
Over@@here, the milkfs bitter, so bitter
Over@@there, itfs sweet , so sweet
Go on, boys, go go go!

making the joys and griefs of our life as lived here now

The fourth Space Poem Chain, which began with the astronaut Soichi Noguchifs poem, comes to an end with the 24th poem, my own. As I look back on the whole, my feeling is, once again, of the life force of the words that were strung together by the power of these childrenfs dreams. They swell with life. Herefs hoping they may of themselves expand into a universe of their own. To all who submitted their poems, to all our readers a big thank you! (Kiwao Nomura)

The half year that I have been involved with the Space Poem Chain has been one of great excitement. I always awaited the new poems with high expectations and then as I read them was swept with a feeling of gladness at being alive. And yet the free and pure conceptions of the children never failed to surprise me. As long as I live I will remember the time we spent together creating this joyous poem chain. It is difficult to part with you now, but as I gaze on the stars, I remember our Space Poem Chain. Now I feel how much we are all children of the universe. Thank you! (Ryoko Shindo)
